DREW HOLMES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
FIRST RECIPIENTS
Twelve new Hams have recently received funds from this scholarship to cover the cost of their training material and test fees.
This complies with the wishes of the event sponsors who provided the funds to honor the efforts of Drew Holmes to help locally with radio support for many events.
Drew Holmes may be gone, but he is clearly not forgotten!
A big thank you goes to HIDARG for administering this scholarship.
TRAINING
NOTICE - You are required to complete the ICS 100, 200, AND 700 courses to be a responder at emergency communications sites including Region 7 hostpitals, ODOT, and the county EOC. Go to "USEFUL INFO" and find the links for the online training under "ARES EDUCATION". Tell the EC when you complete each course and remember to print the certificate.
